Renaissance Tower I – Nearing Completion

As my first post on this blog i would like to start with a breathtaking view and a bit of controversy

Included in this post are some pretty neat pictures (from the LFP) taken from the crane on top of what is soon to be London’s tallest apartment building.

Unfortunately Tricar-the developer- is miss leading londoners with their advertisement campaign on their website as well as on the billboard located at the base of the tower. On their renderings of the towers it clearly shows 23 stories then it steps back with 5 more stories to the top. The tower is now at 25 stories and has just stepped back. I brought forth my inquiry to city hall and I saw the final plans submitted for the renaissance and I couldn’t believe my eyes-the plans changed drastically-The once highly regarded design is now nothing but like every other Tricar tower in the city only double the height.. I was very disappointed that this was allowed to happen. Now I’m still left wondering when Tricar will change their advertisements-
